Request Access

If you have not yet registered for your Zemax online account or have not received an invitation to join after activating your license, you can request access by submitting this form.

Once logged in, you can access company license and colleague information, request technical support, and engage in the community forum. Full access is reserved for Zemax customers with a supported software license. Customers who are out of support will have limited access. Additional information is available in the Access section of the knowledgebase.

We recommend registering with your company email address if using a company license. If you provide your Zemax license number, the license administrator on your account will be notified of your request.

Where is my Zemax license number?

  • Your license number is in the format of “L1XXXXX” or a five-digit number such as “22000”.
  • If you currently have a Zemax application installed, your license number is located in the “Help” and “About” sections, or from the Zemax License Manager application.
  • If you have a USB license, it is printed on the USB itself.
  • If you do not have the software installed yet and are trying to access a shared network license at your organization, we recommend you acquire the license number from a colleague using that license.

Where is my Ansys account number?

  • Your Ansys Support Coordinator will provide you with this number.
  • If you already have access to Ansys Zemax software, you may find the account number in the Help menu under Ansys Zemax License Utility.
