Illumination & Stray Light

Illumination & Stray Light Learning Plan
This learning plan consists of 7 courses [+2 additional courses for the getting started course and the final exam], covering 4 days worth of material. The purchase of this learning plan gives you access to the online training platform for 30 calendar days.
It is the recommended training for non-sequential mode and assumes a background in optics but not necessarily with Zemax OpticStudio.
Training objectives:
- Model and analyze the performance of an illumination system in OpticStudio
- Build merit functions to optimize system performance and tolerance it
- Build a complex object
- Run a Stray Light Analysis
Included Courses:

Getting Started
This lesson gives you instructions for the course.

Introduction to Non-Sequential
This course is an introduction to non-sequential mode and ray-tracing in that mode. It will cover how sources and detectors are d...

Illumination Systems: Optimization and Tolerancing
This course will explain how to set-up, optimize and tolerance illumination systems.

Complex Object Geometries
This course will explain how to create a complex object geometry when it doesn't exist as a built-in object.

Polarization and Ray Splitting
This course will describe the tools for polarization and will then look at what happens when a ray splits.

Non-Sequential Settings
This course will describe the tools for polarization and will then look at what happens when a ray splits.

Scattering and Photoluminescence
This course will review the different models for Surface Scattering as well as Bulk-Scattering and Photoluminescence Model.

Stray Light
This course will study the Stray Light in a Maksutov telescope. It will demonstrate some useful tools like filter strings, ray fi...
