In this webinar, application of holographic optical components and its advantage, compared to traditional free-space optics, are first introduced. Next, the available hologram models in OpticStudio are discussed along with tricks how to set up them efficiently. The diffraction efficiency of hologram is then considered using the Kogelnik’s coupled wave theory. Finally, some examples of holographic systems are demonstrated.
