OpticStudio STAR Module is a finalist for the 2022 SPIE Prism Awards!

Zemax is thrilled to share that SPIE and Photonics Media have selected the OpticStudio® Structural, Thermal, Analysis and Results (STAR) Module as a Software category finalist in the 2022 Prism Awards!
As you know, the annual Prism awards are the industry gold standard for recognition of photonics innovation. 2022 marks only the second year that the Software category has been included, so we are especially proud to be among the first companies ever selected to compete for this high honor.
The OpticStudio STAR Module is the latest in ground-breaking innovations from Zemax, putting powerful structural, thermal, and optical performance (STOP) analysis within reach of everyday optical engineering workflows. Zemax customers in fields ranging from LIDAR for autonomous vehicles to astronomy for far-ranging exoplanetary discovery can now easily visualize and analyze the impact of structural and thermal perturbations on the optical performance of their systems. Using output from virtually any FEA solver, our customers can focus on getting the insights they need to push their innovative designer further instead of spending hours or days processing data.
We look forward to sharing the spotlight with our fellow finalists at the Prism Awards Ceremony on January 26th at Photonics West.
