Aspheres and freeforms 1. Introduction to aspheric surfaces in Zemax OpticStudio

This first course on aspheres and freeforms gets you familiar with this useful category of surfaces. It gives an overview of the available built-in models and includes simple hands-on examples and key information on their manufacturability.

Aspheres and freeforms 2. Optimizing and Tolerancing Freeforms
This course will provide more complex exercises involving aspheres and freeforms, as well as insights into the tools available for designing, optimizing and tolerancing with these surfaces.

 

Aspheres and freeforms 3. TMA design improvement 
This final course on aspheres and freeforms covers advanced exercises that include some of the newest and most flexible freeform surfaces. It contains an in-depth step by step investigation of how to improve a TMA system.

All our online classes offer the same great content as our classroom training providing you with the most useful optical design techniques. All you need is an OpticStudio Premium License (monthly licenses available for purchase) and an internet connection to get you started.

Certification 

Once you have completed a learning plan, we will email you a certificate of completion, as well as a LinkedIn certificate link.
