Get a sneak peek at the agenda
As the Director of Industry Development for SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics, Stephen Anderson strengthens the connections linking educators and researchers with application developers and business leaders in the photonics industry. His familiarity with the industry in Europe, Asia, and North America raises the visibility of photonics among policy makers and national research agencies. Zemax is honoured to host Mr. Anderson as a guest speaker at ENVISION Europe, taking place on the 26-28 March 2019 in Paris, France.
In his presentation, “Photonics: Key to Tomorrow’s World,” Anderson will deliver a unique analysis of the global markets for photonics products and a clear in-depth picture of the size and impact of the world’s photonics industry. He will also explore some key technology trends that will drive continued growth of photonics into the 21st century—a century that will depend as much on photonics as the 20th century depended on electronics.
“Zemax software is helping companies lead the way in developing the photonics products of tomorrow,” said Anderson. “I’m excited to speak at the upcoming ENVISION Europe event – where you’ll find the who’s who of optical product teams in Europe that depend on Zemax software to bring their product visions to market.”
The ENVISION Europe conference will deliver informative, knowledge-packed sessions, with discussion about gamechangers in optical design, as well as peer networking opportunities. Join us for three days packed with Zemax-led talks and workshops, guest speakers, and customer-led sessions including:
Gamechangers in optical design
A panel discussion with Zemax customers
Practical applications of Zemax software
