  1. Briefly describe what you do all day.
    I manage a team of very talented optical engineers and do my best not to get in their way.

  2. What's the best thing about your job?
    I get to work on a variety of things alongside some amazing people and can clearly see the impact my work has.

  3. What's the best thing about Zemax?
    The people

  4. What does your workspace look like?
    Paper. Lots of paper.

  5. What's been one of your proudest moments working at Zemax?
    Building my team, and watching them grow and make significant contributions to the success of Zemax

  6. What do you like to do when you're not at the office?
    Spending time with my children and sleeping, when I get the chance

  7. What inspires you?
    People doing things that they love

  8. Fill in the blank: I'd most like to have dinner with…
    Someone like Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandela to understand how they stayed so committed to such difficult a struggle for so long

  9. If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?
    Flying would be cool

  10. What is the song title that best describes your personality?
    I genuinely have no idea.

  12. How would you most like to time travel?
    By plot hole

  13. Greatest game in history?
    I used to love playing Kick Off 2 with my friends, but that really dates me.

  14. Favorite app?
    Good Fish Guide: It tells me what fish I'm allowed to eat and keeps my daughter amused.

  15. What are five words of advice for others in your profession?
    Work smarter, not harder (please)
