Anatoli Trafimuk
Anatoli Trafimuk is an optical engineer in Optics for Hire. It is a small organization specializes in optical design and prototyping for firms incorporating optical systems in their products. He received his M.S. in Physics from Belarusian State University. Anatoli has over 4 years of experience in optical and illumination design, including 3 years experience with the ZEMAX Optical Design program. His work is mainly relating to lighting and illuminating systems based on light-emitting diodes. Also he has an interest in imaging optics, laser scanning system and another fields of optical design and engineering.

This article explains how to create user-defined surfaces of revolution for use in the non-sequential mode of ZEMAX. Examples employing the Bezier curve and a cubic spline curve are provided.
