Reid has a broad background in optical design, prototyping and metrology. Past projects include video inspection microscopes, telescope mirrors, optical data storage systems, helmet mounted, heads up, and projection displays, fiberoptic collimators and transceivers, wafer inspection tools, and missile seekerhead optics.
