There are times when employing a consultant is a better use of resources than undertaking a design yourself. ZEMAX Development Corporation does not offer design consulting services because we concentrate solely on developing ZEMAX and supporting ZEMAX users. We do not want to compete against our own customers!

Here is a list of ZEMAX users who work on a consulting basis and may be able to assist you. If you are a ZEMAX user who provides consulting services and would like to be added to the list above, please contact support@zemax.com. Please be aware that the support for your ZEMAX key must be current in order to be added to the consultant list.

Mike says: "I have been using ZEMAX regularly for 13 years. It is a powerful piece of software for the serious optical designer. The many controls and switches in the user-interface allow the behaviour of extremely complex optical systems to be modelled in great detail. At Opto-Mechanical Design, ZEMAX is the powerhouse behind the optical design and Autodesk Inventor provides the 3D modelling capability to design bespoke optical systems to match the exact needs of the customer. We have experience in ZEMAX-modelling of microscopes, spectrometers, interferometers, telescopes, White cells, ellipsometers and many other optical phenomena including rainbows and other atmospheric optics."
