The ZEMAX manual and Help system are excellent sources of information that you can use while you continue to explore the capabilities of ZEMAX. Both can be accessed from the Help menu in the main menu.

This concludes your guided tour of ZEMAX but you are encouraged to explore the other articles available in the Knowledge Base for more information on what ZEMAX can do for you.

I have used Zemax for years, but purely as a sequential-modeling tool. I now see that I really need to learn how to use the NSC mode - as presented here, it is EXTREMELY useful! I actually could've really used several of the NSC features in the past. I guess I'd better finally knuckle down and learn how to do this!
Great article, by the way!

I learned some new techniques. I found the boolean object demonstration quite helpful. I was hoping for some more information on the use of non-ideal surface coatings on NS Surfaces. Perhaps you can point me in the right direction there.

My company LUX Aviation is currently purchasing your software. I'll be using the non-sequential mode for most of my modeling. I look forward to exploring the capabilites of ZEMAX. Great job on the tutorial.
