Summary
In summary, ZEMAX can now be run on all Intel-based Macintosh computers. You can either use Apple’s Boot Camp software or Parallels Desktop to run Windows on your Macintosh and, hence, run ZEMAX. A USB hardware key is required to run ZEMAX on a Macintosh computer.

I downloaded Boot Camp right after we discussed it a month ago and it worked with Zemax the first time. Very satisfied with your advice.

It should be possible to use Zemax on a Macintosh by networking, via Remote Desktop, to a Windows machine running Zemax. I don't know if this counts!
{Editor's Note: That's not strictly running it 'on' the Mac, but for sure, Remote Desktop and the like works fine too! }

Yes! You can run Zemax via Remote Desktop. I work in Zemax from my home Mac with Remote Desktop connecting to my PC at school. Having a broadband connection is very helpful.
